I wouldn't care as long as:

1. Nintendo's next console is good and isn't another motion control non-HD piece of (blank)

2. Microsoft's next console is actually reliable

3. If Sony keeps making the games for the other consoles.

If either #1 and/or #2 along with #3 are met then I don't really care

Nope. Be a better shot of getting a main MGS on a Nintendo console.

EDIT - Then again I wouldnt REALLY care if any did. Id just buy one of the systems that are coming out and play their games.

MS = Gears

Sony = God of War

Nintendo = Zelda

It would not matter if any of the current players left the market, because if they do they would have been irrelevant for a long time before it happens. Since all players are currently relevant we can say with some certainty that for the time being all 3 players will not leave the market.

So will it bother me if the PS3 was Sony's last console? No, see above.

It wouldd bother me a lot because it'd leave a lot of market share to be claimed by Microsoft. If anything, I'd like to see MS stepping out and some other company entering the market.
