If you are going to sell it, it better be soon why the PS3 is still actually worth some money...
If there is a price cut, good luck getting ANYTHING for it.

no reason to sell it unless you already have a 360 or something. Neither system is gonna get much exclusive support outside of 1st party. It's up to you to decide how important those 1st party games are or which ones you prefer. Most of the library is gonna be the same though. The install bases will never be THAT far apart.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
360 has great Exclusives
Wii has great Exclusives
PS3 has great Exclusives
It really depends on which Exclusives appeal to you more.
Also, saying PS3 won't gain any momentum is blah, it's still selling well, even at the current price. Yes it DOES need a Price Cut, but don't let that pull you down.
There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

I can only have one console since is hard to convice my wife of spending more money in gaming. Should i sell when there is still time???? am i been paranoid? |
Why are you basing your console ownership based upon how well it sells? Isn't there stuff coming out on the PS3 you want to play? Does the 360 interest you more and its exclusives? if you are unhappy, get rid of it, assuming it is the 40 or 80 GB. If it is the 60GB hold onto it. No sense in booting out backwards compatibility.
Anyhow, if you don't like what is coming out, dump it. Otherwise, keep it.

I agree so much! |
Again, that is my take also. I had even bought systems that were going out of production, just to have them and the exclusive. Like, yes I bought an N-Gage to get Pocket Kingdom. I did similar with a Neo-Geo Pocket System. I did similar with an N64. And if someone wants KZ2 why would they dump it now?
The PS3 has some great exclusives. Unless someone doesn't have room, and desperately needs the money, why not hold on and wait? I think it is time to sit down with the wife. Maybe talk about next Christmas adding the Wii, for example, which plays games differently, and would likely be of more interest to the guy's wife. If room is an issue, the box up the systems not used, and come back to them another time.
| radha said: thanks everyone of the comments most have been very positive, yes i will keep it, what have to do is put on my pants and tell my wife am buying another console in the case it does end up without third party support, heck ill even ask her to let me buy killzone 2. |
If money is THAT tight, then that is another issue. You could consider going Gamefly if you want, and rent games, if need be.

What entertainment isn't a waste of time and money? Does she like going to the movies, or anything else for fun that costs money?
