I would hold off until you can convince your wife that you need two consoles. A PS3 + Wii is the way to go... and just keep what you have for now unless you are not satisfied with it, and are certain you will be happy with a Wii.

 

If you are able to get your wife into gaming, maybe your gaming budget will increase.  Best way to do that is to get a Wii.  Don't sell your PS3 though, just add the wii.  Good luck.

A lost of time : the 360 and the ps3 are more of the same. There never been 2 consoles in the history of videogame who where almost identical like the 360 and ps3. (talking about the games...) If you sell your ps3 and buy a wii, well, ok go for it but for a 360... I would stay with the ps3

Eh.  Your probably being paranoid.

As long as people are spending money to make 360 games... they'll probably more often then not spend the 10% of costs to make a PS3 version even if things hit rock bottom.

Need all the marketshare you can get in an HD game with the Wii dominating.

Selling the PS3 and getting an 360 would only really make sense if you could get back good value for all your PS3 stuff... which is likely near impossible considering well... it's not very popular.

the only reason you want to sell your console is because the economy is being hard on sony? how the console fairs should not be a reason to get rid of a console, especially if it brings you joy.

so here is what you should do, sit down and think....does the playstation 3 give bring me the joy that i want out of a console? does it give me everything i want? if yes keep it no matter what, if no then go ahead and sell it.

Not for the reasons you posted.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
