Didn't Famitsu's review say both versions had lag issues?
How can the Wii port be laggy? It's a DS game...

I think you're confusing lag with framerate and latency.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Honestly though, even though I have enough DS's to enjoy the game, I'm not gonna buy it. I don't think the story is going to be that deep. Plus, finding people to play when I want to play would be a chore. They should (if it isn't already being done) just put it online.

It is online.... Does anyone know if it supports Wii Speak and the DS microphone, at least with friendcodes? If so, it's a definite purchase for me. If not, well I'll see about it...

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Ohhh! Thanks for pointing that out. This sentence made me think another thing, "It depends on the environment, but both the DS and Wii versions have heavy lag." My crappy english. lol.

I hate the idea of using a DS as a controller. That's the only thing i honestly dislike about Nintendo. They ruin potentially good multiplayer games with that.

But you don't do that in this game. You simply use the DS as... a DS.

This is basically just a DS game that can be played on the Wii if you don't have a DS.

It's an interesting concept but I'm not sure I'm sold on it yet. The multiplayer will have to be really good, especially local area.

I don't think so. Ring Of Fates was a bit of a letdown and Echoes of Time looks almost identical. I'd probably get it if there was a drought of software between DS/Wii/PS3/PSP but that doesn't look likely at the moment.

Hmmm... I don't know much about this title but I'm definitely looking forward to any decent RPG thats coming out for the Wii. Do you have to buy both the Wii and DS version to use the game? Looks cool but its hard to tell anything from the Japanese trailer (not speaking Japanese and all)

The entire point behind the game is that it uses the Pollux engine which allows crossplatform online play between the DS and Wii version.

You only need one...WWii version is a port of the DS version so they're identical right down to the graphics and controls.

Personally I'm going to buy the DS version, since it was clear that it was made for it.
