i don't really think so, because
if the competition released a motion controller for their systems, nintendo would probably not have to worry too much. remember, it's not just the motion controls that have garnered massive sales, it's software that uses it well in the end, and nintendo should have that well covered. even if nintendo felt threatened, they could just release another perihperal for the wii to compete, which would be even better because of the wii's huge user base by then. also, since nintendo will be so well known, the competition would have to work very hard for the same recognition, and i just don't think they could do it by just copying nintendo. they would have to change the game like nintendo did this gen for nintendo to even care.
