So I never had issues coming to the site, but in the past two weeks, something on the site keeps locking up my browser.  It happens occasionally at work (Firefox PC) but almost always at home (Firefox/Safari Mac).

It's just VGChartz, and certain threads especially.  Any ideas on how to prevent?

Hide Sigs? Less posts per page? Just try changing those if its the forums that are causing the problem...

I just fixed the problem today, not sure how, just installed Firefox. Before that however I was using IE and it would sometimes cause the computer to slow to a crawl.

No idea what it is, but ever since VGChartz started piling on these ads the site has been overkill on my work PC.

BHR-3 is here yeah i had the same promblem only wen going on VGC too press Ctrl Alt delete and see if ur firefox is taking up 90-99% of ur cpu usage  wen it freezes up like that again it's under the processes tab next to firefox exp. or just look at the performace tab that was the promblem for me there something wrong with this new version of firefox.  Then go here download the No Script thingy there is a link in there called and highlighted  No Script extension.  My firefox work flawlessly now on VGC and other sites hope that helps if it does the least u can do is post in my threads located in my sig that goes for everybody
