No in the U.S there was only one bundle .As for the userbase excuse gears1 did 1.85 million in its first 2 NPD months . The 360 is crushing the ps3 in software sales.

userbase excuse is kinda weak, I mean when it come to legs yea, continued growth of the userbase and large userbases are the key, but for 1st party huge exclusives.... A core userbase knows what to buy.

I really think weak PS3 softs sales in NA, are afteraffects of the fact earlier in the PS3's life (07 and 08) the PS3 was sold as a BluRay player that can play games and do pictures and surf the web. Now it is Marketed as a Gaming machine, that has a bluray player, and you can download movies.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Sorry, I meant many bundles were sold, though I think there were two bundles, the very limited gun metal grey one, and then the 80GB bundle

Gears 1 did do better, and certainly in the US the Xbox is doing better, but if we look at the picture overall, in many games the PS3 versions are selling better in proportion to its user base

 Your fanboy glasses are too foggy to read the part NPD clearly noted MGS4 LTD sales in USA do not include bundled units? Do you know how many 80GB MGS4 were released in USA? no, I don't either, but I'd say no less than a million is common sense. Add around a million to that million, fanboy.

The Metal Gear Solid bundle did pretty good it managed to sell 500K PS3's, impressive.
