thats tough, the 360s sales have been really sporatic, maybe due to game releases, so if i were to take its second half of last years sales I would be more inclined to say the 360 will win. but if I look at the first half of the year I would say it might take half as long again for the 360 to reach thoes sales. So its any bodies win at the moment

I took the 360 like 6 months to move 200k units in Japan.

It will be close, but PS3 should manage to reach 3 million first. It will be about 8 or so weeks before either happens, but PS3 has Demon's Soul, Street Fighter IV, Yakuza 3+Bundle, Warrriors Orochi Z, and Resident Evil 5+Bundle all coming in the next 8 or so weeks in Japan. 360 has Left 4 Dead, Ninety-Nine Nights II, Street Fighter IV, Star Ocean 4+Bundle, Halo Wars, Way of the Samurai 3, and Resident Evil 5+Bundle.
