Didn't have a choice, it was practically the only way to get a few kills in that small area and even then they were still difficult to take down. I would have to get right in front of them to guarantee the kill while all they needed was one person at practically any distance and we'd be utterly wiped out.
I get annoyed with the shotgun sometimes in regular matches, but this match was overkill.
I don't think my K/D ratio was affected. It's still a little below where it used to be, but it's gone back up since my last post about it. I can't see the battle recorder on Killzone.com so I don't remember what my stats were for that match, but I recall that you and I had nearly as many kills as their top scorers.
I think my lower K/D ratio the other week was just because I was playing a lot of regular and clan matches on a different TV so the controls felt different than usual.

Shotgun doesn't piss me off as much in non-lag matches because if you boost straight towards me you're guaranteed to be turreted down by the sta3 (notice how it sounds like a turret lol). They have to move all the way to the side to get me and sometimes I can't keep up because I don't want to increase my sensitivity beyond what I've become used to.
I can't count how many times I've been killed with a shooty online and I was like wtf? all the way from there? because my shotgun shots only seem to kill with one shot when the full circle is on the target up close or when I aim specifically for their heads so I definitely know what you're talking about.
I knew our K/Ds weren't much different from their top scores. Yours is just usually a lot higher so i thought your total may go down. A different Tv can be helpful/unhelpful from my cod experience lol. You're lucky you can still change your k/d ratio with a few games. Mine is pretty much stuck lol.
