Hey, we all make mistakes.
It could still sell that well.

Yeah, hoping it will. Then this prediction won't be completely failed ^^
@ Undying, I would like to quote to you something out of the statistics I reading I am doing
Normally outliers are discarded from data analyses.
– This is particularly the case if it is clear that the outliers
are due to errors in the data collection.
Now, if you look in more detail, you will see that it has 4 reviews, 3 sensible ones and an IGN review (if that's what you want to call it, with scores of 80, 70, 60 and 39.
As more scores come in, the effect of the IGN reviewer being a douchewill hopefully be mitigated

Megaman 9 made the decision easier for you. Cut half the sonic dev. crew and make some 16bit 2d classics. Just Sonic, noone else.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Can't say I see the point of the pic when I just admitted that my prediction fell flat on it's face, but alright ...
I predict low/mid 70s and 2 million lifetime.

yea exactly, but i don't think metacritic takes out the outliers. which if they want to be taken seriously you would think is a given, i mean you learn about that stuff before even intro to statistics.
If there are say 50 reviews and most are roughly in 85 (+-) 3 or so. If there is a 35 or 100. Heck even a couple of each. The other 46 reviews would only be counted and those few would be discredited.
BUT WOW at review, 4 reviews and they are that spread out. That is one thing about Wii games I don't get. How can people have such a huge difference in reviews. Too much damn opinion/personal bias these days in reviewers it is sick. Their job isn't supposed to rate a game on how much they like online multiplayer so if game don't have it gets docked big, or how much their into their HD graphics so docked. Or how hyped a game is, or if they are sick of the franchise branch offs (mario sports, sonic, ect). Being selective on what docking.
Sometimes they dock a game for being too similar to earlier games, nothing new brought to table (such as like mario party 9). And others they totally don't even bring that up; millions of shooters, or sports games. I haven't played mario party 9, but i can guarantee that it has some new games, and with the wiimote for use in however many games it uses it makes it COMPLETELY different than prior releases.
