Forums - Microsoft - Star Ocean: The Last Hope European Release Date

Yeah it's true nanaki, Xenosaga was a mockery here to us Europeans, the only thing we got from the first game was a lousy DvD with the cutscenes in poor quality.

ToV is almost a lost case to here, i don't really see it coming. Also im getting a bad feeling for FFXIII since the NA release is only for 2010, around april, maybe we will only get in late 2010

Sweet! I should have it a couple of months later!

Atari said they will release ToV in Europe this year, but not ToS2. When though, who knows...

Until it will be said that game don´t arrive in Europe, there is still hope. At least Last Hope is given, hehe.

Well that's a stupid business decision.

I couldn't have said it better myself xD. Yeah i know that they said it would be released in Europe, but it's still TBA, and since ToS 2 won't come here, with the install base of the Wii's around here, it makes it less likely for ToV to be released around here as well (I really hope i'm wrong though)

Probably have something to do with that fact that ToS was a gamecube game, I can't see it having sold that well in europe and since it's a spin off you can be almost assured it won't sell better than the original. So while ToS2 sold better than Vesperia, it's possible they see it as having less potential in europe. Or as you say, they might just be dumb, this is Atari after all.

Nice! I won't have to wait over a year for it... Unlike some other Tale...

Tease.

Glad to see its coming at a decent time for European gamers, sucks about Vesperia and Symphonia 2 not getting a release date though...

Yeah and coupled with the fact that Vesperia is one of the few region blocked games, the only way we would get to play it if it doesn't get released around here is with a modded 360.
