Oh the marketing genius in these commercials, I mean marketing to your target buyer by being offensively stereotypical.

The first few PS3 ads were wierd, and thus, were kinda bad IMO.

The last couple ad campaigns have been very good, however (the black octopus PS3 thing, and the latest projected images + people stuff). Much more interesting and catchy than MS or Nintendo has been over the last couple years.

The baby was was *definately* the wierdest and creepiest of the first bunch though. Man... freaky -- and not something that says "buy one of these now!" to me (although I did buy one, because I was worried the BC would go away.. I was right).

obviously that blog was made by a Sony hater. I don't care about commericals AT ALL. The console itself is important. Hardvare, Softvare and online is important

ROFL at the baby ad - its priceless! Some form of bizarre horror movie - evil dolls coming to life, and killing everyone! Huhahahahahah!!

wtf¡¡ was that baby thing? well theres a rumor that sony will bring back the play beyond advertising when killzone come out.

XB360 ads this Xmas in Italy were appalling, but previous ads were good (although the best IMHO was the XBox 1 one with the flight from womb to grave) and price was so good that the open skull lamer boy ad had no chances to damage sales

That doll-baby one yes, but IMHO the XB360's dumb faced open skulled lamer boy one is a close second
Nintendo ones, OTOH, are almost always clear and amusing, I'd say if not perfect, from good to excellent anyway.
