390K First Week, 900K First Month, 1.4M LTD

(I'm basing these sales not on any flaw of the game, but I believe Sony will not market this game well and as the reviews come in, they will nitpick the game to hell)

This game has more hype than LBP and look where it's at.

 LBP had at least marketing going for it as well as Holiday Boost. If Sony doesn't market this game, it won't reach LBP numbers...

With the right advertising this game can reach new ground for Sony.

Resistance 2 is a highly anticipated sequel to one of the highest quality and best selling PS3 games on the market and was released during the peak game buying season with a massive marketing campaign and (after 10 weeks on the market) has just passed 1.3 Million ...

I'm expecting first week sales to be somewhere between 350-500k. Am I underestimating it? I don't think so. But who knows?

sony WILL market it well, otherwise there was no point in them making this game cost so much money to make.

500k most likely.

Slow season, and that's what the last big shooter on ps3 pulled in the holiday season.

It's gonna be a rude awakening when it's numbers hit.
