I think the general interpretation of the announcement was that we would be able to download VC games directly to the SD card. We would still have to, however, take it from the SD card and move it to the Wii's internal memory, and, of course, be forced to make room on the Wii before we could do that. If that's correct, then that would do next to nothing in helping the situation. Actually, it would make it worse, because we'd have to copy games from the internal memory to the SD, AND vice- versa, while the original method only had us to the first step.

Yea I expect it to roll out the same time as Wii Sports Resort.

They never said you can play directly off the SD card but Im assuming it'll be enabled. If not than its a pretty dumbass "storage solution"

if it doesn't let you play directly of sd card (which is what i think they said, could be wrong) then WHAT THE HELL DOES IT DO?!?

Well downloading directly to the SD cards is no use! We will still have to move it around if we run out of space.

I thought they said the storage solution was using the SD card, or did I just imagine that?

I don't see why it is so hard to release a hard drive for the Wii.
