It looks like the ones on the left are lower quality images. But overall I would hand it to the CGI.

The CGI imo is much smoother when running. The screenshots are crap but watching it in motion it looks amazing. The actual game looks better in many areas to me though. The fire for one looks so much better to me in the actual game. The environments while smaller look better to me. The Hellghast look much better also but that might be more to do with the difference in artistic direction. I much prefer the new look of them. I'm no expert on this I'm just going by what I've seen. Either way, I think GG has done an amazing job and it will no doubt be the greatest looking game on consoles when it's released next month.

Did you notice that all the Helghast in the 2005 trailer walk?
Actual gameplay beats CG because allies and enemy more actively take cover :P
That's the comparison i made some time ago (around E3). Not the final build obviously.

Both look good but i think the CGI looks better in motion. But props to GG for coming so far! I like many of you am very interested in this game

The review build scares me... Game's aren't supposed to look that good in 2009....

The trailer shows better textures, and more detailed models, but the light of the actual game, and the enviroment looks better... again, is a useless debate...
