If you ask me, the distribution of their games' release dates is partially responsible for all the whining. Had the Wii Series and those "hardcore games" released alternately to each other, people won't complain as much.

Name 10 for the PS3 and 360. In my opinion, it is just about as difficult.

There are three obvious traps you're setting up here. The first one is the minor detail that the Wii's only been around for two years, a rather small timeframe to release ten completely new IPs (for reference's sake, Sony has yet to meet that criteria either).
Second, and this is where the real fun begins, is your "good" qualifier. I can guarantee you that you'll bash the majority of whatever games I throw out, using your subjective opinion, whereas I'll love the bulk of those games.
Third, since it's convenient for you, I've noticed the DS has magically disappeared...
Nonetheless, I'm bored, so away we go!
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen!
This list gets even longer when we include DS games (which we're not, for reasons unknown to me).
Now, commence telling me how 15-x games don't count, because you don't like them (ignoring the fact that that has zero to do with your original statement).

I have to question the claim that all Nintendo does is recycle their games. If we look at the 2008 NPD list of top ten games by console, it tells a different story. It shows that fully half of the top ten Wii games were original and all but one were by Nintendo where both the Xbox360 and the PS3 had only one non-sequel each, only one of which was first party.

^Yup. IMO, continuing to release follow-ups to an old series should be the obligation to the creator if the series is popular. Just like how we are at our 22nd James Bond Film, 30th year of Garfield comics, 3712th episode of Eastenders etc.
Stopping the series while it is popular should be considered a "crime against humanity" (exaggeration) unless the creator dies or suffers from a terminal illness (e.g. Charles Schultz and the Peanuts)
Just my 2 cents.

But before I begin, i will say I did not include the DS because it isn't complete Sh*t and I happen to find it has a nice library (phoenix wright, advance wars), I didn't even mention it BTW. Also, about your subjective statement, the same could be said to you, when you mention the following games and have not even played them (especially the japanese ones)
1. obscure japanese game which has nintendo characters in it (I feel this is only going to stay the same as I name down the list.. a bit dependant, no?) but I'll give you this one. +1
2. the vgchartz sales data came up as the #1 result on google.. So, you should read the comments for info 
3-4. not nintendo published... I'm talkin' bout nintendo, not tecmo. Technically they were published by nintendo in a territory though... +2 to you.
5. shitty port cash-in of a gamecube game that was never published.
6. ............... it's chess..... why did you list a 500 year old game? it's like saying microsoft published a slight remake of minesweeper. wow, key exclusive.

^Is it bad to continuously have new installments of a series though?
PS3 and 360 games are relatively new because they have only been in the industry for no more than 3 gens. Hence they must make everything from stretch. Would you complain if you were playing Halo 10, FF16 or MGS8 several gens away?
Continuing to have follow-ups in a popular series should not be a point to criticise a console/TV station whatever. Instead, it should be something to be proud of. Just like those channels which show soaps that have thousands of episodes by now.

I'm pleased to see that you didn't disappoint! Actually, you did a bit (I was looking forward to "Wii ___ games are all the same series!", but you can't win 'em all). I liked the part about the DS (it counts because I like it!); it goes exactly with what I thought you would say. The part about a game not counting as a new IP because I didn't play it was a bit...odd...though.
Anyhow, glad to see that even after your edits I've met your completely meaningless, wholly arbitrary, and thoroughly subjective criteria. Am I to take it, then, that you will retract your original statement, and return to the old (but admittedly completely valid) "I don't like the Wii because it doesn't appeal to me" standard?

That better happen, otherwise those creators aren't fulfilling their duties to their fans. I also believe that Sonic games should continue to be made despite the ramblings of the "fanbase" whose opinions don't matter in the real world context any more.
I was disappointed when Bill Watterson stopped drawing Calvin and Hobbes comics by the end of 1995, just 10 years after he started. A popular series better last long enough, or never end. Hence I'd show a bit of understanding had Jim Davis retire from drawing Garfield right now since he's drawn it for over 30 years.
What goes for comic strips/drama shows/film series etc. should go for video games.
