Killzone 2 will do 700k first week with really good advertisment from Sony.. and it will do around 400k without advertisement. and i expect it to fall between 400- 700k range cuz i don't expect Sony to do a lot of advertisment but they won't ignore it either.

first week/first month. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that the game sells for $59.99

you see the problem is sony release alot of there first party titles close together or around the time one of the biggest multi plat games is about to come out or was released a month before.little big planet,resistance 2 and motorstorm all around the same time along with othere big games during that perod.this year they are releasing killzone 2 but i wont be getting that until ive got resident evil 5 and finished it completely which could be 2 months because i love them games so much and i finished res 4 about 100 times before i got sick of it.but anyway i reckon killzone will do 1 mil first week hands down,gow 3 the same and uncharted 2 also the same.but just cas a game doesnt sell 1 mil first week doesnt mean its a crap game.alot of bad selling games went on to selling millions over there life span

Everybody called uncharted a flop and look where it is now. It's sold more than Bioshock 360 which was exclusive for about a year. Legs are 1,000,000x more important.

Pokemon Red sold 65K in Japan week 1........it ended up at 10 Million in JAPAN ALONE!

I think Sony has a great exclusive line up this year! God of War 3 and Killzone 2 those will help Sony in sales!

I think Uncharted will sell 1 mill the first week. With over 2.5 mill people owning the game and even more playing it, with it's almost universal appraisal from the people that have played it, and with it's hype and a strong marketing push behind it, it should be able to crack the 1 mill sales barrier the first week.

id put money on it that uncharted 2 will sell 1 mil first week and my guess is sony will announce a uncharted 1 and 2 bundle at tgs or something like that.to boost those sales alittle more for people still waiting for a price drop.killzone 2 has to get loads of advertising off sony.it would be just stupid of sony if they spend all that money on development and not give it averts

yeah look at wii titles not many sold 1 million first week. actually they sell mainly due bundles and legs.
but first week for some titles its nothing especially new titles.

Killzone 2 will sell great and that's about it for big-selling ps3 exclusives in 2009. I don't believe that ff13 and gt5 will be released in 2009 and god of war 3(which i also doubt that it will be released in 2009) will not be a huge seller IMO. GOW3 selling power is being overestimated. Games like Uncharted 2 and infamous will be lucky to do resistance 2 numbers.
