Why does anyone even care which one is more powerful anymore? The last two years has shown pretty convincingly that the power boost isn't making their games any better, so the arguments should really have long ago moved on to things that might actually matter.

Yes,what a good deal... I`m so relieved,I was afraid I made a mistake. Thank God for this article,it really oppened my eyes. I was living under the impression that my GPU is inferior and my system is hard to program for,has a limmited bandwidh,has a smaller userbase...wait,what?

All I got here was 360 - Better GPU and PS3 - Better CPU... something that's been said far too many times this past 2 years.... Still no answer.....

And really, the only question is, what the hell is a "mistery"?

      Because for what you get in the box the PS3 is actually the most economical console on the market in comparison to the other two, but when the majority of customers run into a store they are not taking that into consideration.  They just see $199 and $250 and don't factor in things like if I want the best online I'll have to pay $50.00 more on top of my regular internet bill every year to do so or the $20.00 for the battery charger so you don't have to run out and buy Duracells every 8 hours or the coolant fan or the $100.00 Wi-Fi.  Or the controllers.  Additional 360 controllers cost $15.00 more than the DS3, and there is no reason for that.

I'm guessing that your following along the lines of that Sony Press Release from the other day? You can always just buy regular rechargeable batteries for your controller (unlike the PS3 controllers). Wi-fi? Not everybody needs that(or wants to use it), my wireless router is sitting less than a foot away from 360, I'd rather just plug it in. I just wish my Wii had a built in ethernet port, so I wouldn't have to use the wireless with it, as I prefer a wired connection.

Where are you getting the prices for these controllers? When I checked prices at Gamestop.com, 360 controllers were $49.99 and the DS3 was $54.99. At Amazon.com the 360 controllers were selling for $39.99(MSRP $49.99) and the DS3 was selling for $42.99(MSRP $54.99).
