Kay-Bee Toys marked down videogames at 60% off just recently.  360 Games were even 50% around Christmas actually.  

As an soon to be former Circuit City employee, I'm using former knowledge of how the other stores were shut down with what I'm saying. It's not going to be that low.

Canada's stores will still be open... they posted a statement on their site just recently:

Are you also shutting down your operations in Canada?

• No, our Canadian operations will continue.  They are not affected by the liquidation of Circuit City's U.S. operations.  The Canadian operations employ approximately 3,000 associates.

Well I'm happy to see the ones in Canada aren't closing.

Well, I always thought they were overpriced... so I am not so surprised.

The Canadian stores will remain open apparently.

Anyways can anyone confirm discounts on products yet?

Apparently not: "Its InterTAN subsidiary, which operates 765 stores across Canada as The Source by Circuit City, says it won't be part of the parent company's liquidation and it will continue to be business as usual."

its good for Best Buy which means Best Buy can better compete with WalMart. With this economy you need less competition in order to servive against Wal-Mart.

i am going to circuit city tomorrow to get some games at a much cheaper price.

if im right it will only be 10% off. Might want to wait. CD/DVDs will be 20% going off the original store closing prices.
