The PS3 is sinking because it's a submarine.

i like how all the 360 fans say that Sony is sinking but if a Nintendo fan says the 360 is sinking then they are in the wrong. Nobody is truly sinking at the moment. The PS3 still sells within 50k of the 360 at double the price. I see 2009 to be a good year for the PS3. just like like 2008 minus november and december.

god so i guess 360 was a sinking ship until its third year,
since the ps3 its outperforming 360 in the same time frame. and the third year/fourth year are comming and looking nice for the ps3 :).

god microsft PR being crazy this week.

For the first time, MS stayed away from software because that's where Ninty had more in the top 10. Only had a paragraph on it when usually its the main highlight. Instead they focused on hardware and Xlive and of course comparing to PS3.

That only matters in the alternate universe where the 2 consoles launched at the same time. In our reality the 360 launched first and has an 8mil console lead to show for it. Using that argument gets you no where because PS3 is still behind.

Makes plenty of sense.  The PS3 is NOT a sinking ship because it's growing in demand and sales, its software is selling well, plenty of software support, production cost is continuously reduced, PSN registration continuously goes up, and it's still the best Blu-ray player with Blu-ray support growing.  These are all FACTS.  Now I can see SONY being a sinking ship for the moment, but the PS3 isn't because of the FACTS given.  So if the PS3 is a sinking ship, so is the 360 because the Wii trounces all over the 360 and put Microsoft in its place after taking Nintendo for granted.  Nintendo!

I agree with you, but I think Jo was doing a reversal of Microsoft's PR spin as an example.  It seems to have worked.

no they r saying that sony is a sinking ship not just the playstation division.Sony lost 1.1 billion dollars dont tell me thats not snking sony is in bad shape and the playstation is not in trouble
