especially after they gave 5.0 to Wii Music, 6.7 to Symphonia 2, said White Snowboard game Ps3/Xbox360 versions are better than Wii, said that Sonic Unleashed is better on Ps3/Xbox360 than Wii, and said that World of Goo is better than SSBB

in this case, i find my opinion more valid than IGN, as it's clear than all they say is shit, and the world does not agree (see sales etc)

IGN sucks a lot lately

I think that as of recently, the guys at IGN (for some odd reason) feel either offended or threatened by the massive influx of casuals gamers into the industry. What I'm inferring from their recent tone and attitude is that the "hardcore" community should become more tight knit and shun the "newbies" of the gaming industry. I think it's a severe case of a superiority complex.

I have no idea why female leads are bad (after all, it worked for the original Tomb Raider ... think of what went through the minds of some gamers who played as her). Of course, I think what is meant there is female lead for the sake of trying to be edgy. But it comes across as misogynistic.

Meanwhile, I would like to know why motion control in Mario Kart Wii is bad. Or why a game that may have saved Sega (Mario v Sonic) is bad.

The more I read it, the more it sounds like immature fanboy drivel.
