I don't know if I'm going about this the wrong way, but I have a really hard time finding older news articles from this site with the search function. I think it'd be a great idea if you guys could work in a forum-like area to dump all the news in, so people can browse through and find older pieces they want to read.

Well now that I'm here, and I just noticed something else, I might as well ask. How come users aren't allowed to lock their own threads?

you could try using google

type some key words and add
site:http://news.vgchartz.com

Why would u want to lock your own thread?

maybe cause someone could make a troll thread and lock it before the mods can notice it

Locking your own threads would be weird.

It would be convenient to be able to lock your own thread for a few reasons, one of them being that your question you asked was answered and the thread doesn't need to be alive anymore. Or in my case where I answered my own question right away and rendered this thread completely useless. :P

Don't you want some "unnecessary for now" vg$?
