Forums - General - The Wii is dangerous - it sends burglars to the hospital

Right, I found this article in my newspaper, and found it pretty hillarious.

This isn't a direct translation, as I do currently not have the newspaper available.

A man breaks into a house during the night, on the night to 4th January. The house is empty, as the family who lives there is in their cabin.

He breaks in, and starts looting stuff. Then suddenly, a blue light appears. Surprised by this Blue light, the thief shoots himself in his knee (with a gun, the article doesn't state how he got it though - guns are illegal in Norway).

In incredible pain, the burglar faints.

Then, a 144 year old boy (no, that wasn't a typo) comes down. He was ill, and didn't come with the family to the cabin. He calls the police, which comes and catches the thief.

As it turns out, the thief was the neighboor of the house he robbed.

I don't know if you find that a bit hillarious (I do), and some people (well, at least Galaki) post this around here.

Enjoy.... Or something.

No way, the oldest person to ever live was like 126 or something.
