I have a feeling that the consumer will end up disagreeing with you.
I hope it's cheaper than that because I need to replace my Lite and am holding out for a DSi, but it will sell at that point.

Maybe they will make a version that works with the DSi.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Me too, my DS Lite hinge crack is getting bigger every day, not good.

Oh, I'm sure they will.
I meant for me.
I could see them bundling with a free online downloadable game like Brain Training or Nintendogs. That would also get people to use the online store, so they get more bang for the buck. Half the battle is just getting someone to connect their system online, after that online sales are so much easier.
On the subject of Nintendogs, imagine a MMO Nintendogs with the DSi. That would have huge potential.
$180 is too expensive, I'm glad this is just a rumor.
Pixel Art can be fun.
