Charttrack had WiiPlay at no 2 behind WiiFit I believe. WiiPlay trends basically the same as the Wii as most WiiPlay is purchased at the time of a Wii purchase.

While ku fu and lego charted between 15-25 and they have a 100% attach rate. WiiPlay has at the most a 50% attach rate. Also Sega Superstars Tennis is not even charting so the Arcade must not have had great sales.

I dont know, it just does not add up.

So you think that just because SST isn't in the top-40 that it means that the X360 didn't sell much hardware? You need to remember that not 100% of consoles are bundled - the Kung Fu Panda/Lego IU bundles, as well as the SST bundles were for the holidays only. So it's likely that there were a few consoles sold through (both Pros and more likely Arcades) that did not have the bundle.

I'm not saying that makes up for everything, but I do think that Microsoft has had brisk enough sellthrough to where some packs may not have the bundled games in for 100% of the systems.

I can answer that with a big NO

I still see adds for the 360 bundles now, about 2 weeks past the holiday rush. I am just saying a 2k difference does not add up. Also with the WiiFit supply I would expect Wiis to move a bit better.

As the 340k adjustment goes to show these numbers are not written in stone, I am just saying using logic that if he keeps tracking the UK like as is, we could see another adjustment....

In a typical week WiiPlay in the top 5 means a VERY good week for Wii HW. I am going by past trends... Who know maybe there was a Wiiplay sales that is throwing past logic out the Window.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Just because they are still showing ads for the holiday bundles does not mean 100% of bundles still have that promotion.

What happened? Wii isn't dominating as much!

Maybe?? well unless you have been to Europe anytime soon you would have no idea what ads are shown over here.

You will use anything to fuel the Wii getting to 50% won't you, you question the 360's numbers constantly to benefit your cause.

no, my official stance is wait until fiscals. The only thing to argue about from fiscals is sellthough, they give shipped, and we have a pretty good idea what is in the supply chain at any given time, in NA for the Wii it was really low due to sellouts, for others places I expect it to be more normal. Fiscals are about 2 weeks away, that should at least get us to the ballpark of where the numbers should be. This has nothing to do with the Wii hiting 50%, it has more to do with the numbers being correct.

Also for NA we have NDP, this week, and that should answer my confusion about NA numbers.

Why wait for fiscals when we have yearly actuals? They're better than shipped numbers.
