PS3 only a small drop from last week.
Reasons are obvious - I bought a PS3 last week :D

Oh oh.  Following your reason, you better stop buying PS3s, before Sony is DOOMED and starts posting NEGATIVE sales number.  Don't ask how this is possible.  It will happen, along with division by zero.  Sony's exclusives in 2009 are so powerful, they can divide by zero.

We all know the power of Kratos, he can divide by zero if he likes. He prefers to slash people into pieces and use that for division though...

Yes, Kratos can divide how he likes, or not divide at all. And you and I can't tell him otherwise. And if Chuck Norris even thinks about telling Kratos how to divide, he will be the one who is subject of division.

A pity about the Wii being adjusted down a bit, still this only delays the inevitable

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

The 360 is still putting up impressive numbers. I wonder how long this will keep up?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I think this is actual momentum...

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957

It's momentum, I think. It's been posting 100% gains since late September - it's hard to argue it'll go down until it gets supplanted as the cheapest console.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

well its the cheapest console and will be unless nintendo decides to price cut which is unlikely.

good number, the differences between wii and 360 are rather small i think

360 doing better now compared to Wii, but obviously nothing is going to touch DS till the holidays again.

It's just that simple.

Good sales for all, Wii got ajusted down quite heavily.

I'm surprised we made an adjustment so close to shipment data releases within a couple of weeks. Hope it means that it'll make us closer and just not have to readjust because that would just be bad rep.

Anyways everything comes down pretty fast after the holidays, especially the ones that are constrained by supplies which is obvious of DS and Wii at least in UK and France. PS3 doesn't seem to have any supply constraints and surprisingly nor does the 360. I half-expected 360 totals to be lower because it came off a big holiday. MS really met the supply well it seems.
