Erm... Is this the X360s highest non-holiday season Others week ever? Sure looks like it to me.

It has been at 141K before, but never 142K.

That's pretty cool....

I count Holiday season as November + December + first week of January (as it contains December days).

Oyv - It should be, coming off of Christmas + selling 100% higher year over year.

Europe is going to be HUGE for the 360 this year. Which is insane, given how it was last year. Europe *may* become Microsoft's most valuable territory in the future - even surpassing NA.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Yeah, but that's still pretty awesome. It tells that the boost isn't ending right after the holiday season, but rather that it might stay at high levels for quite some time.

@oyvoyvoy

basically like the PS3 last year....ye know every week it used to have a 100% YOY increase for NA.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

@Groucho - I have a solution for you, so just calm down a little bit.
Start your own console tracking website and put the ps2 on the front page.
That way you can sound like sony pr when they defend and justify their poor ps3 sales by including the "playstation family"

Ok, I am gonna come right out in say it,

in the UK at least these sales do not add up.
360- 32k
Wii- 34k

Charttrack had WiiPlay at no 2 behind WiiFit I believe. WiiPlay trends basically the same as the Wii as most WiiPlay is purchased at the time of a Wii purchase.

While ku fu and lego charted between 15-25 and they have a 100% attach rate. WiiPlay has at the most a 50% attach rate. Also Sega Superstars Tennis is not even charting so the Arcade must not have had great sales.

I dont know, it just does not add up.

So you think that just because SST isn't in the top-40 that it means that the X360 didn't sell much hardware? You need to remember that not 100% of consoles are bundled - the Kung Fu Panda/Lego IU bundles, as well as the SST bundles were for the holidays only. So it's likely that there were a few consoles sold through (both Pros and more likely Arcades) that did not have the bundle.

I'm not saying that makes up for everything, but I do think that Microsoft has had brisk enough sellthrough to where some packs may not have the bundled games in for 100% of the systems.

I still see adds for the 360 bundles now, about 2 weeks past the holiday rush. I am just saying a 2k difference does not add up. Also with the WiiFit supply I would expect Wiis to move a bit better.

As the 340k adjustment goes to show these numbers are not written in stone, I am just saying using logic that if he keeps tracking the UK like as is, we could see another adjustment....

In a typical week WiiPlay in the top 5 means a VERY good week for Wii HW. I am going by past trends... Who know maybe there was a Wiiplay sales that is throwing past logic out the Window.

WiiPlay is still going to have high numbers this time of year even without Wii console sales.  A lot of those people that got a Wii for Christmas are just now getting out and picking up 2nd controllers.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

wii dead

al hope lost

Why wait for fiscals when we have yearly actuals? They're better than shipped numbers.

we dont have them for every region do we? I saw them for france, and that is where the adjustments came from. I know we usually get real numbers from Italy (not just charts), where else?

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Aww, Wii adjusted down :(

All are well.
