I will review PS3 games

Sad this had to happen the week i work 12.5 hours a day.

I'd probably be ok as a retro reviewer.

Modern stuff though my tastes seem out of the norm.

I apologize, and will do my best to clarify.

What I mean is that we would talk about what a game is about, dissecting it in a way that echoes cinematic and literary criticism. Most video game reviews discuss plot and music and so forth, maybe a charater or two, but they rarely dip into what a game is about on the whole, the subjects that it tackles or the way that it interacts with the player. A critical analysis of Wii Sports would be fascinating and no less deep than a critical analysis of Final Fantasy IV DS or even Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, but each of them would be very different because each game sets out to and accomplishes very different things.

Sometimes when that happens to me and I go back into word it can recover the document, or atleast a part of it.

I made a dumbass mistake buy just typing the whole thing up on a message. When it finally crashed thats when I figured I should have used Word.

Yea, how does the process of getting the games for review work? Are we supplied with the games or is that up to our own descretion?

I work at a place where I can check out games for free but I just need to know?

There are some review copies, but not enough to depend on. You will have to get almost every game that you review yourself, by whatever means you have available.

You just inform people of your next couple of planned reviews and then get them up in the mod forums as soon as you can for editing.

Is it OK to just create a thread with my review and then send it to you guys? It's a good way to get suggestions from other members as well.

I tried to make my review piece "a bit" different from the usual review style, but I at least talked about the main aspects of the game.
