Sony used to be the kings of spin and advertising, now i would say sony and microsoft are both equal when it comes to spin, but microsoft are the new kings of advertising and generally much better at getting their software/hardware noticed.

MS can keep stealing Sony's 3 party Exclusives all they like. Sony is making new ones and the fact that Sony has way more (and better) exclusives than MS; Sony has nothing to fear. Sony is the driver in this campaign. MS should keep getting cocky, so we can laugh when they F*K it up!

And how long did it take sony to get only a handful decent 1st party developers? 15 years?

The only ones laughing will be microsoft when sonys "decent at best" games studios come make games for the 720.

Pah. Sony have always had a strong first party. Gran Turismo, Ico and Syphon Filter are YEARS old. Only Guerilla, Santa Monica and Naughty Dog are new to the first party lineup.

And I don't think Microsoft's spin can compete with this.

God of war is indeed a good 1st party game, all the other "so called blockbusters" are 2nd party.

I'm just simply pointing out that sony had nothing to begin with and relied heavily on capcom, konami, square, namco ect to get them to where they are today.

When microsoft have been in the console gaming business 15 years we can come back and see who has the most developers then huh.
