I personally thought it was brilliant. After all that work the Prince had done, he cared about Elika enough to undo it all just to bring her back to life. And then that walking into the camera with the haunting music and Ahriman behind him...wow.

In fact, the whole game reminded me a little of Team ICO's games, although not as good.

What did you think of the ending?

All I know is that is screamed SEQUEL! Bad story and mediocre game, will be interesting to see what the story will be in the next one though.

I liked it, although it was quite similar to the ending of Warrior within in some ways.

What I don't get though is it only takes one light seed to keep elika alive. Surely 999light seeds should be able to keep ahriman trapped, is exactly 1000 really needed? >.>

For me im hoping it results in a far bigger area becoming infected. Maybe the start of the next game could begin with running from the temple area to the edge of one of the 4 areas in the first game as everything is collapsing, then reveal a bigger world.

I really hope we get a next game though, sales of the first aren't exactly stellar. Im worried they are going to change the graphical style to more like AC.

I agree with Yahtzee on this (for once). It's not too easy, at least the platforming isn't. A platformer is all about the flow, sending you back 500m would break that flow significantly.

The combat resurrecting was a little ridiculous though. I really liked the entire game, actually. I'd give it 8.9/10.
