Are any of you buying Killzone 2 without having brought Killzone 1 back in the day??

if so I was nice enough to find this link 4 u guys about Story of Killzone 1....its in a few parts....so me n u guys won't be out of the loop story wise after buying killzone 2 without playing killzone 1

I am, but I did play KZ1. A little bit, probably like 30 minutes. But I played the KZ2 beta, so however horrible that was, was masked by the awesomeness of the beta.

I finished KZ1. Quite a mediocre game, if you ask me. Story is also not that crucial... and the ending haevily contradicts what we're seeing in KZ2.

Neverthless, KZ2 looks amazing... bad KZ1, no KZ1... I'll be buying for sure! 

Havent played Killzone 1 but will probaly buy  Killzone 2.

Tried to play KZ1 and just could not get into the game fast enough to adjust to the controls and eventually stopped playing after about an hour or so. Track like trench warfare initial design, etc... I see what they were trying to do, but it just didn't work for me. Far too ambitious for the PS2 hardware; ultimately mediocre results.

Definitely wanted to see the story, but when playing the game is such a chore, it's just not worth it.

I'm withholding any expectations for KZ2 until I actually play the final game, but it is looking like it may be one of my most played games of 2009.

I proudly beat Killzone and enjoyed it. Not like most of the people who never bothered with it because of its bad reviews, and are now hyped for Killzone 2 and they don't know why.

I watched my friend play a few levels, and all I really remember about it was the cinematic awesomeness of the battles, I can't wait to play the second. And thanks for the link!

Yea I never played killzone 1 so this is good for me to read the story. Also I saw the game at my walmart for $19.88 should I buy it insted?
