that is my question

im an avid 360 player and i want something different... but should i wait til next year to get the wii2? or do i even dare to get a ps3 :/

I hope that's a typo. The Wii 2 (whatever they call it) isn't coming until 2012.

I question the intent behind posting this in the Microsoft discussion. If you want something different, I suppose Wii would be the way to go.

2012?? i heard 2010!well in that case i guess i can get the wii now

sorry about that

Wii 2? Seriously?

Okay, on the point: Why would you get a PS3 when you have a 360? They're going to be the same gaming experience, with practically the same games, save for a dwindling number of exclusives...

yeah well the few ps3 exclusives are kinda what i want to play :/

Step 1)Buy a Wii.
Step 2)Buy No More Heroes, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zelda, and whatever else interest you.
Step 3)Enjoy your Wii.

seems like i really need to make a list lol

What I wonder is whether the OP really is on the fence about anything or if he just wants to see the two camps have a pissing contest.

no, the op just wants to know what she should get... sorry i didnt respond sooner, im not always on the computer all the time

and i really am on the fence- i would like to get all three systems, but there will be new consoles coming out soon, so im wondering if i should even bother buying them now or waiting til the new ones are out

The Wii is this generations market leader. There is no way they cut the generation short to 2010 when they are raking in the $$$. Just like all the previous market leaders, expect the Wii to stay on the shelves the longest. Even Nintendo themselves said they would like to break away from the 5 year generation cycle.

Nintendo will keep the Wii on the shelves for as long as the competition allows it to, which could be to 2012 or even later.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

haha//bro that's a girl not a guy.lol

But her thread does seem to be fishy, why post in a Microsoft forum to talk about the Wii or PS3? Really odd in my opinion.

i couldnt find the wii forum and tbh i'd rather get opinions from the people who play my types of games. i dont have a ps3 so if i went over there to ask them they'd just tell me to get a ps3.

sorry again, i guess im not looking hard enough for a nintendo forum

I dont think Wii2 is going to be out next year.

Yeah I'd say get wii, there is alot of different experiences. If you want something thats alot different go for zack and wiki, no more heroes, or boom blox. If you just want awesome new games get mario galaxy, de blob, metroid prime 3, and smash bros brawl.

Don't forget to check out some wii ware games too. World of Goo and Lost Winds are both fantastic.

world of goo? ive never heard of that, i'll definately check it out though- thanks!!!

my list of wii games to buy keeps getting bigger and bigger 8/
