I figure Bioshock has a small edge too, but depending on how good the control scheme is in Metroid Prime 3 I could see it giving it a run for it's money. Lock-on free aiming is a brilliant idea. Both are games I HAVE to have. There is no if about it lol.
I really excited to get my hands on this. I played a bit of System Shock 2 and really liked it and with this being a sort of a spiritual successor to System Shock 2 i really want to check this out.

Cool, I guess I'll have to check it out whenever it gets to the PS3. I'm gonna try to get my friend at work to pick it up though so I can see it before then!

I am adding to my sig as we speak... For single player, I bet this is better than GoW (Though I only have an hour or 2 clocked in on single player, it's hard to get time on my friends 360 for single player.)

The game has the "only for xbox/pc" branding on the box, so have fun waiting for it to hit the PS3.

Gears of War 2, GTA IV Lost and Damned, Little Big Planet (Yes I said I had no interest but my girl wanted to try it and we did and now Im hooked

2 million is perfectly reasonable for a game like Halo 3 in one week. What did the last Pokemon do for it's first week, I think it was something like 1.5 mln in NA alone. Halo 3 is more popular, one would think, with the demographic that is spending their own money would sell more... but the install base is lower.

Definitely looks to be godly.
If this is anything less than one of the best single player shooters of all time, I will be disappointed after all this buildup.
Three games decided my 360 purchase last November, this, Mass Effect and Blue Dragon.
I really hope I get my 360 in time for this, this should be one heck of a game.
Edit: By the way I still don't expect this to be as good a seller as it should be with how high the quality of the game will be.
