The internet is not serious buisness people =/ Lets get back to Star Ocean 4 shall we?

Best graphics in a released/soon-to-be-released JRPG to date or bestest graphics in a released/soon-to-be-released JRPG to date?

Quoted for the 12th page and a second attempt to get back on topic. Don't worry, I wont try a third time.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Ok, I'm tired of this. This thread is about a very promising JRPG, a genre that hasn't seen too much great games this gen so far, and I don't want it derailed about pathetic system wars any more.

ANYONE mentioning a PS3 version of this game OR says something to downplay the PS3 library from here on out gets BANNED, without warning (cause this is your warning).

OT: I'm looking forward to it a lot. I hope the story is good. The graphics are already great, but that's not my main concern in a JRPG.

Although the Fury made things pretty balanced in respect to combat in SO3, it doesn't look like it made the jump to SO4. Rush isn't fury either, as in most of the screens the Rush is down to 0% and they are still attacking.

And I'm glad they took it out. To me it actually felt constraining on the game. I also hope they finally put in a block button -_-;

My main concern with the story is how much they delve into the pre-journey aspects, or if it's going to be 'oh, there was a nuclear war 10 years ago. It killed almost everyone, but now we're in space! See you around, Edge!'

I'm always a sucker for post-apocalyptic gameplay - be it Wasteland, Fallout, the destroyed world in FFVI, and so on. And having seen the gorgeous CG cutscenes concerning WW3 makes me hope against hope that they actually put together a feasable, good storyline in there.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I haven't read anything about this game. What kind of battle system does it have?

I just hope there are no more "crash on an underdeveloped planet and spend the first 10 hours of the game there" plot directions >_> Lord...Airyglaph and Aquaria were boring as hell.

@Jaggedsack: Its a realtime 3D battle system. SO3 had special attacks like Artes, but they couldn't chain well :/. I thought it was better then most systems, but not as good as Tales.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks similar to Tales of Vesperia, but a higher focus on crazy combos.

Cool thanks. I have been yearning to try something besides the usual turn based JRPGs that I go for. I have played EA, LO, and BD for the 360 and am looking for something a little different. Maybe I should give ToV a try now and then SO4 when it comes out.

>_>

You've been wanting something not turn based, you like JRPGs, and yet you haven't got Vesperia yet?

WHATS WRONG WITH YOU MAN?!

The screens of the game look mighty tasty.
