Forums - Gaming - How much is each console worth to you?

Wii -- $200, since I rarely play it right now, although it does have a lot of games I would like

360 -- $250 (one with 60GB HDD)

PS3 -- I don't regret paying $500 for the 80GB BC model, since it obviously gets A LOT of use. Bought it in August and already have 9 games for it (5 exclusive).

Interesting responses. ^_^

A. $250. I have it, I love it.
B. $150. I would like one, but not worth spending any more than that.
C. $150. Might be nice to have a BRD player.

Wii and PS3 are worth exactly what I paid for them and not a cent more! So...

A) $388
B) Maybe a hundred. I think PC/PS3 is a better combo than PC/360 for my HD gaming needs
C) $699

Wii - £180.... Wii was on the limit of what I would allow myself to pay for any console at the time I bought it.

360 - £50.... If I knew what I know now about them, I still don't have much interest in the X360, so it would have to be this cheap to entice me away from the Wii.

PS3 - £100.... I have no interest in Blu-Ray, I hardly own any DVDs and have no plans to buy a HDTV any time soon.... but there are some interesting games on the system, again it would need to be this cheap to stop me buying the Wii

The HD consoles are so low because I wasn't originally planning on buying a console this generation anyway, so they would have had to be damn cheap to entice me.

You can do your own conversions into dollars, because I have no idea how much I would have paid if I were living in the US.

Wii - $250. Good Price for the system

360 - $200. Good price for the system

PS3 - $350. Just a tad too expensive right now.

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

A) $100 - $199. Only a few games that really interest me
B) Meh $1 - $99. I'd only use it as a doorstop anyways =P
C) $600+. its worth it just to play MGS4

A: $299.99

It was the first console that I bought on launch day. I had expectations, but they were all blown away by this new way to play. With so many fun games to play, both core and casual, it's been a blast so far. Here's to 2009. The extra $50 is because of all the new Sonic games coming out on the console.

B: $99.99

I really do like this system, don't get me wrong. With games such as Left4Dead, Bioshock, and great marketplace games (Don't forget RE5 coming up soon), you can't go wrong with the console. However, my brother already has this... so it's like having a free console I can play any time I want. If I ever wanted to buy it for myself, it would have to be pretty cheap to get me over the freeloader hurdle.

C: $99.99

With all of my time going towards Wii and 360, not to mention work and school, I haven't found a place for the PS3 yet. However, I would love to have a Blu-Ray player to watch The Dark Knight on (not to mention plenty of other movies), and LittleBigPlanet is a lot of fun. So if it ever came down to this price, I would definitely get it. Yeah, I doubt it will come down to this price... but that's what friends are for right? Not to say that it's a bad console (it's not), but right now I just don't have the time nor money to own this beast.

wii - $250 - $300
ps3 - $300 - $350
360 - $50 or less
