I no that this is VGcharts.org but it'd be nice to have all the stats here, is it possible?

It is not possible to have computer sales... For an example, the only way you could count it would be processor sales. Now those are gameing machines. You could could every graphics card... But once agian, it's a small market. Just because Dell makes a computer, dont mean it will run Crysis. I mean, I'm sure there are well over 1billion computers worldwide.

Now for computer game sales, I dont see why that couldnt be done. Wii_gamer will probibally read this. Hopefully he'll reply. As I would like to see this myself.

PC's are just a whole different animal...although total PC game sales sounds possible...it's a totally different market than consoles though. It's never "winning" or "losing" compared to consoles...it just keeps getting new games, some good, some bad.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

of course its competing against video game sales. there are far less games available now for pc then there were say 10-15 yrs ago. Although there is of course an entirely different market on pc than on consoles to say its not competing against consoles doesnt really make any sense
I suppose they are affected by consoles, but 10 years from now, people will still be playing games like "Command and Conquer 8" and "random FPS 12" And now...I'm gonna play some Garry's Mod

Well I would like to see sales as well for PC, Mac and Linux. While it would be great it would miss many many games out there. Free games, Open Source Games. Plus any game purchased to play under some flavor of wine under Mac/Linux that is a Windows game will be counted wrong, many ports done by obscure publishers. I just think it would be too hard to track.
