i think it will eventually hit 4 million ltd, but for me it was the 3 best rpg i played on the 360 in 08.

I would think Mass Effect II could possibly outsell it, assuming it pulls an Empire Strikes Back/X2 thing and really blows its predecessor away (and it is very possible). But then again, it hasn't been announced for any specific platforms, so who knows if it'll be a console exclusive.
Fable II has sold impressively, though, and could do well with legs. Holiday releases tend to do that do to the fact that so many of us have no possible means to play all of the great games released.
final fantasy versus 13 will outsell it.

For what it's worth... i think Nintendo actually considers all the mainstream Zelda games "RPGs."
It's kinda hard to argue with... considering how much the RPG genre has diverged. You don't even need levels to be an RPG anymore.
"For a while" is a qualifier that doesn't mean anything. Maybe "highest selling RPG right now" would be a more appropriate title, but this topic reads like a lot of back-pedaling.
It looks like Fallout is going to pass it up, and Dragon Quest X is going to stomp its ass into the ground.

nintendo does consider zelda an RPG miyamoto said it in the interview about the low twilight princesss low sales in japan, something like this:

So Fable 2 is the 2nd best selling RPG on Xbox 360 and may become the first soon. Great news and thanks for the update!
