Fable 2 is going to be the highest selling RPG this gen (single platform)

Versus won't pass Fable 2 (if ever) until at least 2010.

And as yet there is serious questions as to whether the Wii can shift a big third party hardcore title like MH3 in huge numbers.

 

For what it's worth... i think Nintendo actually considers all the mainstream Zelda games "RPGs."

It's kinda hard to argue with... considering how much the RPG genre has diverged.   You don't even need levels to be an RPG anymore.
