KRPGs are probably even lower budget than JRPGs. They can't always afford shiny, new subtitles.

Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata is a PlayStation 2 RPG released in 2004 in South Korea by Softmax, and in Japan by Banpresto. It is the sequel to the 2001 CRPG, Magna Carta: The Phantom of Avalanche, and the second instalment in the Magna Carta series. Sofdec was also associated with the game's development.
The game was released on November 15, 2005, in North America by Atlus, under the name Magna Carta: Tears of Blood.

So the 360 is getting a 4 year old port? I'm guessing they'll upgrade the graphics, etc...

then you'll really start drooling over the character designs.

Hahahahha, it's a port?
Wow, what's the point. It's still vaporware, why do these sites insist on keeping it alive?

Ouch. It's just a port? I didn't Crimson Stigamata was the name for Tears of Blood. My bad.
They are going to have to rehaul the battle engine, voice acting and a lot of other stuff before I buy the sequel.
I got MC off eBay in the "deluxe box set" complete for $20 and still haven't touched it outside of an hour of gameplay. The exploring was ok, but the battle system and voice acting was horrible. Nice box art though :P
It's just that simple.

If that was true, Magna Carta's graphics wouldn't be FF calibur(back in 2004/5).
@MonstaMack
The VA need some serious improvement. Blame Softmax for the bad battle engine. If a sequel is made and Atlus publsihes it in NA, I think the VA could be really good because their localizations have improved sharply since Magna Carta came out. Play Persona 4 to see what I mean.
