I don't know how much it'll sell, but many people (including myself) believe that Sony should market Killzone 2 heavily.

Sony needs to get people to know and want this game and they need to have advertisements that show off the game and not a lot of the usual weird or creepy ones that they seem to love to spew out.

Let's remember that the first game sold over 3m copies, and Liberation was a successful PSP game, and Sony will advertise this, so I think there is some chance of this getting to 3-4m, which would turn a decent profit for Sony

Not necessarly, COD4 and some other games sold amazingly more because of word of mouth of it being Amazing...Since I dont think KZ2 will be as revolutionary as COD4 (thou probably be as good) I do see a need for marketing or at least a bundle/price drop package.

whether KZ2 passes it or not, MGS4 is still the better game.

But MGS4 sold almost that amount in just NA in the first week.

to everybody saying that Killzone 1 only sold sooo many copies, It does not matter how much the game before it sold, This game is being advertised as a new next gen shooter, not a new installment in a series. By that logic then GTA 3 would have not sold as much as it has, COD4 would only sold 3 million cross platform. That arguement does not work. Look at the sales of the Final Fantasy's, see how some sell alot better than others?

I hope it turns out to be great and that it will sell well for Sonys sake.
To reach Mgs4 sales Sony must advertise it heavily and first week sales 1 million worldwide.
