I think the userbase for the PS360 is much higher now than SC4, MK VS DC has done a million across the PS360 so bare that in mind.

360 - FW 500k, LTD 2 Mill

PS3 - FW 400k, LTD 1.8 Mill

SFIV will have huge first week numbers. This game has been a long time in the making. I have always been a huge fan. SF has a huge fanbase and it would not surprise me if it had insane numbers it's first week. I'll range it:

First Week:

PS3: 450-500K
360: 500-650K

300,000 for 360

200,000 for PS3


it won't be as big as people think.

Despite being a huge fan of the series and knowing that i'm part of the niche for this games i'm worried about the sales. I find the graphic horendously ugly and not to my liking but will get it.

It could easily do a million on the 360. Xbox Live Arcade has done wonders for the franchise's popularity on the platform. If the game is quite popular, it could do a million on the PS3 as well. I think the game has enough hype behind it to do a million on both consoles.

1mil for SF4 on the 360 WW shouldn't be an issue at all. 1 mil in NA alone could be close.

I think that the diffence will be less than it usually is, I just dont see tons 360 gamers running out and getting it, also I personally like fighters better on the PS controller, I am sure I am not the only one.

But this gaming doing about 2.2 million WW will be a good success.

Agreed. People also seem to forget the release of SSFIIHD Remix has generated interest in SFIV.
