I fly this flag in victory!
I wrote this back in July, but it applies (Keep in mind I was pretty drunk when I typed this): So my friends Randy's birthday party was tonight. We had the party(it was a surprise) over at my neighbor Lucy's Apt(mine's across the street from her's, which is awesome cuz we've been friends for years, anyway back to the story) and we had about 12 people over there for a good bit. Dave (Lucy's BF and my fellow Nintendo fanboy, who incidentally is in a pretty good indy rock band ) pulls out his GC and challenges me to Mario Kart, which I totally kick his ass at. Anyway, after a round or two, everyone notices the game, and like 9 of the 12 people there turned out to be avid Karters, so we make a double elimination tournament table, and go to it. An hour and a half later, I am reigned champion. Wait...I almost forget, it's time for a- Subplot! During a smoke break from the tournament, I come up with what I think might be the best idea since the bagel. What if Mario Kart Wii has an 8-player mode where, like in Double Dash, two people co-op to control one kart, except in this case there are four kart, and control are split into nunchuk(using items, punching) and the Wii-mote(driving). If it still isnt clear what I'm trying to describe, imagine one person(Driver) holding the wii-mote(long remote control shaped part) and the teammate/puncher/item user using the nunchaku part. Sounds pretty cool, huh? Anyway, back to the- Mainplot! ...After the GC is shut off, we have the water balloon fight out back, play my "Lightning Reaction" game (Four people each hold a one-button controller attached to a main unit. A light flashes on the unit, then changes color. When the color changes, the last person to press their button gets an electrical shock...so much fun) , go swimming over at the pool, play a bunch of marco-polo, and further our mental degradation...All-in-all one of the most fun nights I've had in a long time, one integrel part of which being the Gamecube, and the chance that 75% of the people there turned out to be huge Mario Kart fans. No matter what your console is, be it MS, Sony, or Nintendo, I find it very cool to know that these kinds of experiences are only going to increase as video games are brought more and more into the main stream. PS: This is what the alphebet would look like if Q and R were eliminated. PPS: Mental Degradation...I'm gonna have to add that to my normal vocaubulary.

I'll take your bluff and raise. Have the person with the nunchuck controll the car, and the one with the wiimote use the pointer for the weapons/etc. The nunchuck can controll gas, break, analog stick, and the tilt.

Mine is in Final Fantasy 2 when cecil stands up and says I will destroy you to zeromus. FF2 was the first game I ever beat and ended up beating it 7 times before I finally got tired of it.
The final battle in Ocarina of Time. You've raised a rainbow bridge to the floating citadel of doom using the sages' power. You've gone through each of the 6 areas and broken the magic barriers. You've ascended the tower and fought through multiple sub-boss battles to do battle with the King of Evil himself. You've reflected his power back at him, blinded him with the light arrows, and struck the final blow. You've seen him cough up his own blood before destroying his castle with his dying breath. And you've spend the last 3 minutes running for your life as the entire castle implodes upon itself. You finally reach safety and watch as the castle continues to collapse into a pile of rubble and dust. And then the real battle begins... Ganondorf bursts out of the rubble, engulfs himself in blue flame, and his true demonic form seems to practically burst out of his body. Oh, and he just so happens to have two swords that are each as long as you are tall, and he swings them around as if they were little sticks. The screen letterboxes, and the text is the only possible label for the enemy you are about to face. GANON Ganon has no subtitle, no description, because there are no words capable of describing such a concentration of evil in one body other than "Ganon". After you do battle, and the sages paralyze him, you step forward with the Master Sword (glowing blue) and slash away at his face. You take one final swipe, and on the backstroke, plunge your sword straight into his skull. The music stops, as if the orchestra is too stunned to continue playing. You rip your sword out of his face and watch him writhe in agony as his power is eradicated and he is sealed away for all time. Top that.
For me, it's the Beatle's rooftop performance on the Let It Be film. I mean, all four of 'em had great mops up there, but specifically John Lennon did it best for me. It's possibly what turned me on to growing out my hair. More than any other performance I've seen, John Lennon had hair that was *alive,* it was helping him play guitar up there, showing just as much passion as his face did. What's cool is that in a few months, my hair is probably going to be roughly the same length and style as John's was back then. If I wasn't so behind in my studies, I'd try to learn guitar just so I can try to perform like that over the Summer, even if just in my parents' livingroom.
For me it is the first time with Super Mario. I and my 4 year older brother was at his soccer friend place. I could have been 7-8 years (I think), my parents and my brother friends parants were some were else. Looking after us was the 4 year older sister to the friend we were at. We started with first playing some duck hunt (or my brother and his friend played), after that they put me in front of the tv and the nes with Super mario brors (of course just to get rid of me ) I can not remember more than the joy I felt for sitting their playing and playing for hours. Since then I have never felt like that for any game. I can't remeber how far I did get, or how good I was I just remeber that I had really great time.

The first time playing a 99-life vs. match in SSBM. that really took hours of hard work;) lots of cursing and more laughs than an average person laught in his whole life. All 4 were dead tired after this battle but since then we have played that mode as often as possible. ( doesn't happen very often anymore ) But the first time was the one with the nicest memorys.
