The SRPG genre in general is probably the most niche out of all genre.

I dont think any has ever broken 1million.

Only Final Fantasy Tactics has, I think.

Yea it actually broke 2 million. Not because of its quality but because of its name.

Yeah its not something i like. Dont like srpg, but my younger sisters seems to be into them.

I TAKE NO SIDES

It's an absolutely gorgeous game. Watching the game in action is worth the money imho.

SRPGs are probably the most hard-core of all genres. It's a weird genre where the people have to like strategy games, RPG games, and anime (not in theory, but definitely in practice.) I don't think anyone was expecting this game to sell well to non-hard-core gamers.

I've been playing it for the last week, and it's great.

Well I think one of the problems is there have been no ads on TV that I've seen for it.

You couldn't go 5 min without seeing a Halo 3 ad, but nothing for VC.

IF companies made games only because they hoped games qould sell millions of copies, not a lot of different games would be made. People at Sega prolly thought it was a cool idea for a game, they thought it could be fun making it and they hoped it would make a profit.

FF XII: RW broke a mil too.

But that's also a Final Fantasy and more of a RTS.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

It was really fun judging from the demo I've played.

Looking to buy it soon when there's any discount.
