Crazzyman is predicting PS3 sales for 2009 to be at the worst 14-16 million (not sure how a range works when saying "at worst" but whatever) and if there is a price cut + KZ2 + long list of Crazzy abbreiviations it will sell 22-24 million.

So it depends how far off you want to be I suppose.

11-12 million without cut.
15-16 with cut .

10,818,388 = PS3 sales last year.

6,600,000 would be my expectations or a 40% drop in sales.

How much by?... You must be expecting a minimum of $100/Euro off for it to increase sales by 4 million (and presumably expecting it early in the year too)

With the state of the economy and without a price cut I think it will sell somewhere around 6.5 mill. There is a pretty good chance the economy will get worse before it gets better this year so I wouldn't be surprised if its even lower than that.

Remember the Xbox 360 "price cuts" came long after most short sighted fanboys had lost hope with the console. I predict there will be blood, there will be tears, and then there will be resignation before Sony finally cuts the price and then there will be tears of joy.
