^This. Kitase seems like a great guy with a passion for developing games and seeing the gaming industry succeed while the S-E boss Yoichi Wada seems only out to milk the industry for what it's worth.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Question! did Squaresoft/Enix ever made/port a game to a Sega system?

I don't think so.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

Kitase was the director of 3 out of my Top 5 FF games: FFVIII (my favorite), FFVII (the money cow) and FFVI (Favorite for many, including some Sony haters and purists), while he was the producer of FFX, directed the really awesome Chrono Trigger, and co-produced KH1 and 2 with Hashimoto... So the man deserves my respect even when i don't agree with him, unlike Wada, everything he says i hear the most "dollars, yens, euros, pounds"...

Square: Never, they even made games for the Wonderswan, but never for a Sega System.

Enix: They made some games for the Sega Saturn, all for Japan audiences only.
