To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made.  I won't open my unworthy mouth.

I'm not really a Nintendo fan, but I must say that their come back is a very good thing.
Because videogames were getting a worse and worse rap.
Because the quality was clearly going down. People already are not into videogames, but when the hardware is expensive and not reliable, it's even worse: even if they try, they won't come back.
One thing that radiate from Nintendo consoles is quality and reliability. Now, they added accessibility and convenience.
My SNES still works, and when I came back to the Gamecube, it was just obvious it was quality.

Nintendo is bringing back a good rap to gaming (healthy, fun people). This is a very good thing.

pride, thats it. oh and shame for not buying a gamecube. I had grown up and it wasn't for me but i did leave gaming all together (unlike ps2 traitors) which is a plus.

Ive never bought a different console brand in my life (except atari before Ninty existed). Dk if i should start now.

The worst thing about Sony and the best thing about my Nintendo history is that i never knew N64 was unsuccessful, it wasn't my concern as a kid. Sony fans well you have the internet to blame for your embarressment.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

For me, it's a feeling of "finally, I've waited so long!"

Nintendo just HAD to lose their crown when the internet became more and more popular, resulting in basically everyone in the general public to diss Nintendo those days. I wasn't pleased that I basically had no one in real life to share my favourite console and games with.

Now, the Wii has stolen that spotlight and I'm happy to know many real people (not on forums) whom I can chat about gaming with.

I'm happy for Nintendo, I didn't wanna see them go. Also, their 2009 game lineup looks pretty darn good so i'm happy.

~Currently Playing Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank: FTOD, and Resistance: Retribution~

For me its actually been a bit of a downhill journey.. I loved the N64 thanx to mario, goldeneye and zelda and it totally made me wanna get one of them GC, which was quality hardware. But the wii.. umm Ive kinda never really thought I upgraded from the GC or ask people call it ,it feels like the GAMECUBE TURBO . I m happy nintendo is doing well but im not so happy about the way its gone about it- the wii kinda doesnt feel like a complete effort to me- I love the nintendo titles but I feel ripped off. Oh well.. back to smash bros

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

owner of : atari 2600, commodore 64, NES,gameboy,atari lynx, genesis, saturn,neogeo,DC,PS2,GC,X360, Wii

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

I'm happy it's doing well so I might be able to play a new Fire Emblem and other great games on it. Nintendo has always been my favorite software developer and more money and a bigger userbase means more (and probably higher quality) games.

I know some people don't agree, but except for Zelda all franchises on Wii are (much) better than their Gamecube counterparts.

Even Paper Mario?

Great!! Because Sony and Microsoft weren't greatly innovative were they?
