RPG's.

The older I get, the less I like games that take up 100 hours of my time. In fact, I actually like much more games I sit down and play for 15-20 minutes than I ever use to.

I feel the exact same way dude. I'm a busy man now, I can't commit to these long games anymore. That's a big reason I'm a huge wii fan now. I like games that I can grab and play quickly.

Around the Network

Platformers: Played the hell out of the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro series (PS1) Super Mario series, Yoshi's Island, Kirby's Dreamland etc.

RTS: Since my computer always crashes, when I try to play any games and I went to the 360, there aren't that many RTS on it. I'm pretty excited for Halo Wars though. Starcraft 2 not so much, but I would love another Age Of Empires sequel...

FPS for me.

I'm so over this genre. The last fps I really enjoyed was the original Halo.

I would also say JRPG's. The just don't seem to innovate much anymore. I was sorely dissapointed with Final Fantasy XII.

FF12 suffered from a pretty par story and the fact the gambit system played the game for you. FF12 is the only rpg game I have that I can level up my characters while sleeping.

My problem with FFXII is that you have to heal too often.  I expect RPGs nowadays to emphasize damage prevention over damage recovery.  With the changes in FFXII fighting style I expected it to be good, but is more of the same old JRPG cure-fest.
