First off, i think we can pretty much assume that GTA IV sucked balls compared to GTA SA or GTA VC and the 10/10 reviews were bullshit. So anyway, here is a list that will make GTA V the best GTA game ever made, please add or disagree with the list and hopefully if we get enough replies, R* will take note and not make the next GTA suck balls.

- BETTER MAIN CHARACTER/STORY MISSIONS/SIDE CHARACTERS

GTA IV's story sucked. Niko was boring and was a soft shit, bring back character like Tommy V or CJ. These character were funny and were solid, took very little shit and ran things the way they wanted (MORE SO TOMMY THAN CJ). Also make the story more interesting, have more betrayals, more deaths, more armed robberies, more drug related people. Below are some good missions to have, bring back or have a similar theme.

- Better bank jobs (In SA, you had many missions leading up to the robbery, it felt proper, in GTA IV, you had one mission,LAME)

- Blowing up an airport (Dropping a plane into a terminal and parachuting out, then losing the cops)

- Stealthily assassinating a V.I.P, Italian DON or someone in a mansion using a knife and silenced pistol

- Killing your employer at any time, if you really hate them (Opens even more multiple paths)

- Traveling to another city (Like in GTA SA) to do missions

These are just some ideas that could work well

- MORE STUFF TO DO

- TANKS

- PLANES

- BICYCLES

- TAXI/POLICE/AMBULANCE/FIRE MISSION

- LEARN NEW FIGHTING STYLES

- BRING BACK RPG GAMEPLAY LIKE IN SA

- ALOT MORE CARS

- FLAMETHROWER, CHAINSAW, HAMMER, SILENCERS (BASICALLY LIKE 100 WEAPONS)

- MORE INTERACTION WITH NPC'S (E.g - bribe them to steal something for you or take them hostage MGS4 style)

- BETTER FIGHTING (MORE COMBOS, BREAK NECKS, CHOP OFF HEADS)

- CUSTOMIZE YOUR CAR AND SELL IT FOR CASH AT A DEALERS

- MORE/BETTER ENVIRONMENTS

GTA IV's environment was incredibly detailed, there is no denying that, but it wasn't varied. So i propose for GTA V, they should have three cities (Chicago, NYC, Sanandreas) and more varied enviroments like in SA. Also i think they should have destructible environments, like if i shot a rocket in a building, bits should fly off and then later you can see builders repairing it, so you can destroy it again, LOL.

These are just some ideas and you may think this is a tall order for them to do but here is how to do it, make it a PS3 exclusive. Now i know some of you are thinking, ha, he just said that because he doesn't want it to be on 360, well no actually, i want the best fucking game possible, and i don't see how it could be done on 360, disagree if you wish, but hey, you would get a shitter game.

lol, you think GTA 4's storyline was worse than VC or SA's!! ROFL! Not every VG character needs to be a tough, ruthless thug you know. Maybe in America, but not in general. Just because someone has emotions like most people do does not make them shit.

More humour, more fun, change the driving mechanic back to what it used to be, tanks, jumps everywhere the way it used to be and interesting missions.

Basically change everything.

Storyline was plain awesome, so don't get at that, though the friends system needs to be destroyed, though it would be helped by a slightly tighter control system, for gunplay and driving.

What I do agree with is that the focus should be shifted to a wackier game, and Niko was perfect for a darker toned game, and as I said, the next game should be less gloomy so they should not have another Niko like character

The bank job mission itself was incredible, though I do agree it could have done with a little bit of extra build up to it

What I want the most is planes, and as you say, multiple cities and countryside. I hope it does not take too long for them to bring out the next one, but I fear we wont see it until 2011

Won't be an issue.

Expansions may be on the current consoles, but the proper GTAV will be on the Xbox 3 and PS4 just as the whole of the "3 series" was on last generation's consoles.

Ultimately, RAM is proving to be just as big a limiting factor for the PS3 as DVD9 is for the Xbox 360. To do the extra things you are discussing all at once simply may not be possible on the PS3. And to put all those things in the broader game simply may not be possible on the Xbox 360.

Ultimately they will choose the lowest common denominator and whack the next expansion on both HD consoles.

I agree with some details and I don't agree with some.

Example:
If GTA V goes PS3 exclusive, then Rockstar = bankrupt

Less realistic and I already will be happy.

I really hate so many little things in GTAIV that could easily make the game a lot more fun if they change it;..An example.

I hate to eat food to regenerate my health please just let it regenerate after 5-10 seconds!

Crackdown + GTAIV+  Saints Row 2 =  WINNNNN..
