Ok, since you've asked twice I'll make a quick list in no particular order: Crazy Taxi 2 (Dreamcast) Timesplitters 2 (PS2) Shenmue (Dreamcast) Call of Duty 4 (PS3) Fallout 3 (PS3) Morrowind (PC) Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2) Uncharted (PS3) Tomb Raider 3 (PSone) Soul Calibur (Dreamcast) Tekken 3 (PSone) I own a PS3, Wii, PS2, Dreamcast, PSone. Used to own a Saturn and a Mega Drive. |
So you used to be Sega supporter, and now you're mainly Sony supporter. Never had Nintendo console - that's you problem ;) Well, you've actually already said this, so no-brainer. As long you don't have appeal to Nintendo games you're not going to love Wii games, at least those you've mentione above. I'd adivse you to play some classic Nintendo games... backward compatibility of Wii would help you with that. Play GC games: LOZ: Wind Waker pretty accessible for newbies (though a bit boring when travelling overworld, but overall it's great and looks tasty... I love cel-shade); as long as you didn't get Metroid Prime 3 and called it FPS (that's blasphemy, like calling MGS TPS) I doubt you ever like any of them, Metroid games require patience (there're a lot of shooting but that's not the main gameplay featrure, it provides a little chalenge to whole gameplay that's it), but give it a second chance try classic 2D Metroid - Super Metroid on SNES; no wonder you didn't like SSBB, that's not exact fighting game expirence Soul Calibur, Tekken 3 would deliver, SSBB is closer to Power Stone (DC); doubt you ever love something else from GC 1st library (ther're couple of 3rd party like MGS: Twin Snakes and SW: Rogue Squadron 2 you may found interesting though); pay atention to some other Nintendo franchises on GC - widen you gaming expirence, try Action\Strategy game Pikmin, maybe some jRPG? - Paper Mario being no the best example of jRPG, but it offers accessibility comparing to more old school experience of others, so why not? Try VC games, N64 would be fine (tehsage already listed some of great examples).
