brawl because it has more interesting caracters , in melee, some caracters are just annoying, like pichu, mew, in brawl sonic , snake , and pokemon dresser are  amazing; also brawl surpasses melee for music, level interaction and number; and many other options.

conclusion brawl= melee -some annoying caracters + new music+new caracter+new level+.....................................+new fun

Brawl no question. Its the best game in the series.

Brawl. It's Melee but with some good gameplay changes and tons more content.

Melee, it's just a lot more fun over a long period of time imo =P

Brawl is much better, more characters, more stages, better features, etc.

Brawl because I don't have to use the messed up GameCube controller... I can use the wiimote and nunchuck.

Brawl isn't really that much more balanced than Melee. There are the broken characters (Fox, Sheik, Falco and Marth in Melee, Metaknight, Snake, Game and Watch and DeDeDe in Brawl) and the terrible characters (Pichu, Mewtwo, Kirby, Bowser in Melee, Ganondorf, Captain Falcon, Link in Brawl)

Sub Space Emmisary (not quite there yet, needs more work)

cons: no mewtwo or Roy (don't care what you say, the way brawl was made Mewtwo would become really balanced like the rest so he won't suck as much, look at bowser and DK)
